{"id":107,"date":"2011-06-12T15:33:29","date_gmt":"2011-06-12T15:33:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wensmedia.com\/\/salesarchive\/permalink\/2011\/6\/12\/113329.html"},"modified":"2011-06-12T15:33:29","modified_gmt":"2011-06-12T15:33:29","slug":"clients-by-design","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ensmediausa.com\/ens-on-sales\/uncategorized\/clients-by-design\/","title":{"rendered":"Clients by Design"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b><font size=\"6\"><u><font face=\"Tahoma\"><span style=\"color: black; font-size: 16pt; text-decoration: none; text-underline: none\">Clients<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16pt; text-decoration: none; text-underline: none\"> by Design<\/span><\/font><\/u><\/font><\/b><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 11pt\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Over the last few weeks I&rsquo;ve been reflecting on how &lsquo;lucky&rsquo; I am to have such a progressive and <span style=\"color: black\">honorable<\/span> bunch of clients.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 11pt\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Recently I had made a mistake and g<span style=\"color: black\">rossly under quoted <\/span>a client on a project, but I was willing to live with my mistake. The client found out about my mistake and stepped up to the plate and offered to pay the proper rate.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 11pt\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Other clients, even though they&rsquo;ve been in &lsquo;the biz&rsquo; for years, continue to surprise me with their willingness to change and grow.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 11pt\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Upon further refle<span style=\"color: black\">ction, I<\/span>&lsquo;ve come to the conclusion that all of us get the kinds of clients we deserve by design!<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 11pt\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; If we<span style=\"color: black\">&rsquo;re hard selling, slick talking, o<\/span>r underhanded in our business practices, we&rsquo;re going to attract low-life clients. If the only way we capture business is through self-interest packages or deep discounts, we&rsquo;re probably attracting hard to please, low profit and slow pay clients.<\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 11pt\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; ENS Media I<span style=\"color: black\">nc. <\/span>has literally NO slow pay clients! And while I was thinking about my good fortune, my wife and business partner (who used to be a car salesperson <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings; font-size: 11pt\">J<\/span><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 11pt\">) said<span style=\"color: black\">,<\/span> &ldquo;I&rsquo;ve never met anyone in business with as much integrity as you<span style=\"color: black\">.&rdquo;<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 11pt\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Maybe we have great clients by design? <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 11pt\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Think about the kind of clients you enjoy doing business with and the way they do business.&nbsp;Then do business <span style=\"color: black\">with the same ethics and principles your best clients exhibit<\/span>. I&rsquo;m betting you&rsquo;ll attract the clients you deserve&hellip;clients by design!&nbsp; <\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; font-size: 11pt\">P.S.
