Today is my youngest daughter\u2019s, as she put it, \u201cLast First-Day of School\u201d.\u00a0She is a Senior in college and will finish her undergrad in May.<\/h4>\n

<\/h4>\n

As I have done for nearly 25 years on the first day of school with all three of our kids, I told her to have fun, study hard and learn lots!\u00a0I then asked her, \u201cWhat\u2019s the family rule?\u201d and she replied, \u201cBe nice to everyone\u201d.\u00a0That\u2019s my girl!<\/h4>\n

<\/h4>\n

After reflecting on this, it reminded me of how we as media reps and managers approach what we do in the world of sales.\u00a0This isn\u2019t just a good rule of thumb for raising kids, (we\u2019ve been blessed, and it\u2019s worked out very well for our family, as it did for the teams I managed) but it\u2019s also a GREAT practice to follow for sales and management.<\/h4>\n

If you are in sales, or you are managing people, are you Having Fun, Training Hard, and Learning Lots?\u00a0And, most importantly, are you Nice to Everyone?\u00a0 It\u2019s a good recipe for success!<\/h4>\n
