{"id":1491,"date":"2018-10-11T14:49:55","date_gmt":"2018-10-11T14:49:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wensmedia.com\/ens-on-sales\/?p=1491"},"modified":"2018-10-11T14:49:55","modified_gmt":"2018-10-11T14:49:55","slug":"prospect-for-passion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ensmediausa.com\/ens-on-sales\/uncategorized\/prospect-for-passion\/","title":{"rendered":"Prospect for &#8220;PASSION&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>The U.S. Chamber of Commerce will tell you that there are approximately 60 registered businesses for every 1000 population within a city.\u00a0Of these 60 registered businesses, we suspect approximately 50 of them are viable prospects that have the ability to advertise on some level.\u00a0So, in a city of 50,000 people you have approximately 2,500 viable prospects!<\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>If you have been to one of our workshops or seminars in the past five years, you\u2019ve heard us say that Main Street is shrinking, and that the best places to prospect today are in the service and professional business categories.\u00a0But regardless of the business category, there is one important quality to look for when prospecting.\u00a0That quality is\u2026 an owner who has \u201cPASSION\u201d for their business!<\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>If you read last week\u2019s ENS on Sales,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/files.constantcontact.com\/fac4cac7201\/52dcfd04-5a4c-4cb4-a849-45c9aa10dc13.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Just Fishing or Trying to Land the Big One<\/a>, you\u2019ll recall I stated that nearly every six-figure account my sales team landed took three to six months to land, and some even longer.\u00a0What I didn\u2019t say was that these same accounts started out spending small and grew from there. But ultimately these business owners all had one major thing in common!\u00a0You guessed it\u2026 they ALL had PASSION for what they did.<\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>There is no secret to identifying those who have it. You\u2019ll feel the passion once you meet them.\u00a0They get excited, even \u201cgitty\u201d when they talk about what their company has to offer.\u00a0They share more exciting stories, have more love for their employees and customers, are more open to your ideas and have bigger dreams for their business.<\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>When prospecting, look for the business owners who have passion.
