{"id":1533,"date":"2018-11-29T00:38:51","date_gmt":"2018-11-29T00:38:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wensmedia.com\/ens-on-sales\/?p=1533"},"modified":"2018-11-29T00:38:51","modified_gmt":"2018-11-29T00:38:51","slug":"great-ads-start-with","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ensmediausa.com\/ens-on-sales\/uncategorized\/great-ads-start-with\/","title":{"rendered":"GREAT Ads Start With&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>Nobody, and I mean nobody, listens to your stations for the ads.\u00a0 The trick is, making people \u201cHEAR\u201d the ads! \u00a0Unless your listeners hear the ads and have an emotional connection, (sometimes logical), the ads won\u2019t work, period!<\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>So, how do you win in advertising?\u00a0 It starts with having a strategy\u2026.\u201cWhat does the business want to be known FOR\u201d?\u00a0 Then, you write stories, interesting, funny, unique stories, that speak to the strategy!<\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>Why are GEICO, Farmers Insurance, and Progressive ads remembered so well?\u00a0 Two reasons mainly, they have great strategies and they tell stories.<\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>Each company has their own strategy that appeals to different people with a different set of wants and needs. \u00a0You can\u2019t be everything to everyone!\u00a0 GEICO is low prices, \u201c15 minutes could save you 15% or more\u201d.\u00a0 They never talk about how good their insurance plans are.\u00a0 Farmers\u2019 strategy is that they pay your claims, even the crazy ones, \u201cWe know a thing or two because we\u2019ve seen a thing or two\u201d.\u00a0 And how could we forget about Progressive?\u00a0 Flo and friends are cute, funny and unique.\u00a0 Their slogan(s) can be somewhat hard to remember as they change from time to time, \u201cName your own price\u201d or \u201cThink Easier \u2013 Think Progressive\u201d, but their strategy remains steadfast.\u00a0 You can name your own price, and they are the place to package all your insurance together.<\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>Are you talking strategy to your clients? \u00a0Are you telling them the truth?\u00a0 And the truth is, bad ads don\u2019t work very well, even on the best radio stations. But GREAT stories can turn little known companies like the Government Employee Insurance Company into a GIANT, like the itty-bitty, teeny-weeny Gecko called GEICO!<\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>Start with strategy, find out what your client\u2019s business strategy is. \u00a0If they don\u2019t have one, help them create one.\u00a0 Then write stories that speak to the strategy and you will have success.
