{"id":1553,"date":"2019-02-07T21:51:13","date_gmt":"2019-02-07T21:51:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wensmedia.com\/ens-on-sales\/?p=1553"},"modified":"2019-02-07T21:51:13","modified_gmt":"2019-02-07T21:51:13","slug":"you-can-learn-a-lot-from-super-bowl-ads","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ensmediausa.com\/ens-on-sales\/uncategorized\/you-can-learn-a-lot-from-super-bowl-ads\/","title":{"rendered":"You Can Learn a Lot from Super Bowl Ads"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4>There is only one time a year that people intentionally want to see or hear ads, and actually enjoy doing so.\u00a0It\u2019s coming up this weekend, Super Bowl LIII.\u00a0In some ways, the ads have become nearly as exciting as the game.<\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>Why is there so much interest in the \u201cSuper Bowl Ads\u201d?\u00a0Because they\u2019re GOOD, some are even GREAT!\u00a0They tell stories, make you laugh and touch your emotions!<\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>The price of a 30-second ad this year is reported to be $5.3 million, and that doesn\u2019t include the cost to produce the ad.\u00a0You\u2019ll also notice that nearly half of the ads aired will be 60-second ads.\u00a0There is a reason for that.<\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>Super Bowl ads typically have two things in common: 1) They tell a story and 2) They are different, in a good way.\u00a0They will capture the hearts and minds of consumers.\u00a0They aren\u2019t about price and items, or about special deals or offers.\u00a0Super Bowl ads are nearly always branding ads; ads that are designed to touch their prospective customers\u2019 hearts and heads with emotions, all with the goal of making them feel good about purchasing and using their products.<\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>In our \u201cEight Lessons Learned from Super Bowl Ads\u201d, lesson number one is, \u201cDon\u2019t be afraid to be Edgy\u201d. Advertising expert Roy Williams says, \u201cIn marketing, you must choose between shouting, boredom, and seduction. Which do you want?\u201d Roy goes on to suggest, \u201cThe risk of insult is the price of clarity\u201d.<\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4>This Sunday, enjoy the game with family and friends but make sure you\u2019re within earshot during the commercial breaks.
