{"id":198,"date":"2009-03-01T15:44:37","date_gmt":"2009-03-01T15:44:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.wensmedia.com\/\/salesarchive\/permalink\/2009\/3\/1\/104437.html"},"modified":"2009-03-01T15:44:37","modified_gmt":"2009-03-01T15:44:37","slug":"crisis-beneficiaries","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ensmediausa.com\/ens-on-sales\/uncategorized\/crisis-beneficiaries\/","title":{"rendered":"Crisis Beneficiaries"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 22pt; color: black\">Crisis Beneficiaries<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><span style=\"color: black\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I know it sounds clich&eacute;, but problems really are opportunities in disguise. &nbsp;The trick is to learn how to uncover and capture the opportunities in this economy.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><span style=\"color: black\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Last week I sat on a plane beside a building contractor headed for Arkansas. &nbsp;I opened the conversation with, &ldquo;I guess things are a little slow for your business right now?&rdquo;<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><span style=\"color: black\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;No&rdquo;, he said, &ldquo;this economy has created all kinds of new opportunities.&rdquo;<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt; text-indent: 0.5in\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><span style=\"color: black\">Looking for more ammunition for our seminars I inquired about those &lsquo;opportunities&rsquo;.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><span style=\"color: black\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; &ldquo;I&rsquo;m on my way to a plant in Arkansas right now that is doubling its staff and building a huge addition,&rdquo; he said.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><span style=\"color: black\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; He went on to explain the factory that was booming made frozen waffles, pancakes and pastries. &nbsp;He said that people with large families were going to restaurants less and opting to prepare convenient low cost meals at home. &nbsp;The frozen waffle factory couldn&rsquo;t keep up with new-found demand. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><span style=\"color: black\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Sometimes it&rsquo;s alternative products or services that capture opportunities in the face of adversity, and sometimes it&rsquo;s simply developing new marketing strategies to capture the silver lining in the economic clouds.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div style=\"margin: 0in 0in 0pt\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial\"><span style=\"color: black\">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; R.L.
